Wonderful Wool - from fleece to fashion

With the opening of a brand new multimedia experience - Wonderful Wool - from fleece to fashion, SheepWorld has become New Zealand's premier showcase for sheep and wool production.

Visitors to SheepWorld will be able to enjoy a step by step insight into how we in New Zealand farm our sheep, then harvest and use their wool.

In the twice-daily live demonstrations the dogs round up and bring in the sheep, which are then sorted and shorn. The new Wonderful Wool exhibition then explains and demonstrates how the fleece is put to an amazing variety of uses.

The exhibition provides a facinating insight into the unique qualities of woold and how it is used in N.Z. to create internationally revered, high quality products. Designed by a specialist team behind many of New Zealand's top visitor attractions, Wonderful Wool features stunning interpretive graphics, video and multimedia displays, and hands-on interactive units.
